"I have said these things to you while I am still with you.  But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, who the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and remind you of all that I have said to you...You have heard me say to you, 'I am going away, and I am coming to you."
John 14: 25-28

The first and foremost step of believing in Christ is recognizing and accepting the presence of God in your life.  That is the very nature of evangelization!  The ministry of evangelization calls you to examine where in your life God's presence is recognized and accepted.  When Jesus said "I am going away" he also said "AND I am coming to you."  He promised that even though he has risen to the Father, he would always be with us.  This is done through the power of the Holy Spirit, a gift of God!  Just where do you experience the presence of God?

Scholars will tell you that Christ's promised presence are witnessed in three very special places: the Word, Eucharist, and Community.  While this is true and very important to recognize and accept, indeed, evangelization calls us to reach out and respond to one another's hungers and needs and offering invitation to build a relationship with Jesus and our community of faith.  At the very heart and soul of every real-life situation going on in your life today is a response from this youth ministry program that calls each of its youth to experience the support, nurture, and care that Jesus taught us to give.
